Co-President | Stephanie Mold:Steph Mold is a Senior at FGCU. She has been Co-President of the FGCU Gay Straight Alliance, and a fierce advocate for GLBT rights the past 3 years. Steph is the vocal leader of her organization.While her voice is loud, her passion is louder. Under her leadership, the FGCU Gay Straight Alliance has evolved from a small club into a large movement. She has devoted most of her life the past 3 years in ensuring that movement continues to grow.

Co-President | Matthew Stoner:Matthew Stoner is a Junior and Co-President of the FGCU Gay Straight Alliance. He has also been Treasurer, and extremely active in the GLBT community the past 3 years. He has helped the Gay Straight Alliance grow by planning extensively and looking for creative ways to make things happen. He has been responsible for giving Gay Straight Alliance a broader direction, and new experiences. Matthew’s extensive knowledge of technology, law, and finance have made him vital to the success and progress of the Gay Straight Alliance. |
Vice-President | Juan Capistran:Juan Capistran is a Junior at FGCU and has been the Vice President of FGCU’s Gay Straight Alliance the past two years. He has always had a knack for fashion, art, and style. He has championed his own charity event for the American Cancer Society for which he brought a sense of color to the cause. He is a highly involved person with a very fresh and unique take on things. |
Treasurer | Chad Neal:Chad Neal is a Junior at FGCU and is the Treasurer of the FGCU Gay Straight Alliance. He has been involved with Gay Straight Alliance for 3 years, and is also incredibly involved in many other campus-wide leadership roles. Chad regards issues of the GLBT community as extremely important and a top priority. He has had a significant impact on the continued growth and direction of the organization. He has a big heart, and is one of the most engaging and dynamic people at our university. |
Activities Director | Melissa Lau:
Melissa Lau is a Sophomore at FGCU and has been an officer of the FGCU Gay Straight Alliance the past two years. As a straight ally, Melissa has made it her mission to ensure the Gay Straight Alliance continues to keep things fun. People are naturally drawn to her because of her friendly attitude and warm smile. Her passion for photography, fun, and finding the beauty in everything is evident in every aspect of her life. |
Communications | Ashley Scott:
Ashley Scott is a freshman at FGCU. Although it's her first year being part of FGCU’s GSA, Ashley has been a passionate fighter for LGTB rights. This year alone she participated in “Southwest Florida Pride,” and was on the planning committee for “FGCU Pride Day.” Her goal is to inform all members of the GSA of current events within the LGBT community. Ashley is constantly moving forward to make the world a better place for people of the LGBT community. She is best known for her squeaky voice and "spunky" charm.

Historian | Billy Dahlstrom:
Billy is a senior at FGCU, been an officer of the GSA for the past two years, and been involved in the GSA since his freshman year. Billy has been there to see and help in all of the GSA’s success over the past four years. He is a creative soul able to see beauty and potential where others might not. He enjoys photography and all form of the creative arts. Billy is extremely supportive of LGBT rights and does whatever he can to push the march for equality forward. He is a very live and let live type of person.
