The current FGCU GSA was Founded in 2006 by Deidre Cassella. Since then the organizations has grown from a hand full of students to one of the largest and most active clubs on the FGCU campus. With over 700 members on our Facebook page and over 120 members that regularly attend our meetings, the GSA is a large part of the FGCU community. For the past three years Stephanie Mold, now a Senior, has been one of the GSA’s Co Presidents. She is a beacon of tolerance that is active in clubs and organizations all over the FGCU campus. Junior, Matthew Stoner is the other Co-President. Matthew is a strong willed young man with a huge personality that brings life to whatever he is involved in. Under the leadership of these two remarkable students the FGCU GSA has quickly becoming one of leading beacons of acceptance at FGCU. |
 2010 RSO of the year, the GSA has grown into one of the largest and most active clubs on campus. It is welcoming and safe forum for discussion for all those who are heterosexual, homosexual, bisexual, and trans-gender. |
